The North Antrim Leader
Plus Company (NAL+)
is an amalgamation of two previous Leader II Companies
(Lower Bann and North Antrim) and is incorporated as
a Limited Company. The Board is a partnership between
the four District Council (Ballymena, Moyle, Larne and
Ballymoney) and the local rural community network (North
Antrim Community Network). There are 2 Council and 2
Community directors (most of whom have a business background)
from each of the Council areas – 16 directors
in total. There is also one Advisor from each Council,
a representative of the Department of Agriculture and
Rural Development and from Invest Northern Ireland.
In addition to the Board there will also be advisory
sub-groups to increase the participation and expertise
involved in the Leader process.
